I am recruiting a funded PhD student to join my research group beginning in Spring 2027 or Fall 2027. The research will focus on numerical simulation and computational mechanics in petroleum engineering with an emphasis on wellbore integrity. Potential research areas include: • Wellbore integrity and barrier performance • Finite Element Analysis (FEA) • Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) and multiphase flow • Multiphysics modeling • Failure and fracture mechanics • Numerical modeling of cement and wellbore systems
I am recruiting graduate students to join my lab! If you are thinking about pursuing a master's or PhD in Kinesiology with interests in biomechanics, sports, concussion, or injury prevention, please reach out!
The research group of Prof. Milinda Fernando is recruiting PhD students to begin as Graduate Research Assistants (GRAs) in Fall 2027. The research focuses on computational science and on developing high-performance computing algorithms for scientific applications. Topics of special interest include, but are not limited to: HPC for scientific applications, inverse problems, PDE-constrained optimization, scientific machine learning, computational plasma physics, and numerical relativity.
I am looking for a motivated PhD student to join my research group. The student will have the opportunity to conduct interdisciplinary research at the intersection of geomechanics, computational mechanics, fracture and damage mechanics, and data-driven/AI approaches, with applications to problems involving geomaterials, infrastructure, and natural hazards.
